Apparently in a slap dash effort to avoid being sued, EA is issuing vouchers for Battlefield 1943 to Battlefield 3 PS3 owners after all.
EA claims there were “misunderstandings” towards the whole thing, which translates into, “we tried to dodge this one but failed.”
Players are required to log into 1943redemption.battlefield.com with their Origin ID (yes, you need an Origin account, or you’ll have to sign up for one) and online pass to request a download code. Codes will be issued for European customers on November 26th, US on December 10th, Japan/Asia on December 17th.
Now we can await the lawsuit from someone who wants the code but doesn’t want to accept the license terms of Origin.
