I’m very excited for Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3‘s DLC costumes. I mean, have you seen Retro Spencer? It’s absolute genius. Unfortunately, the royalty of Spain has a problem with one alternate costume that will be available soon. Marvel certainly knows how to make enemies!
Pictured is the alternate costume for Magneto, which is a reference to his royal uniform during the House of M arc (great comic by the way). Most people not familiar with Magneto would be forgiven for thinking this alternate is simply Magneto wearing a royal Spanish uniform because it does undoubtedly look like one. So of course the Spanish royalty has a problem with this kind of unofficial depiction.
It’s worth noting that the Spanish royal family has had this problem before when the actual House of M comic revealed this costume for the first time, so there is some level of precedent at work.
The royal family has not officially made a statement about the matter yet but they will be discussing the matter soon.
I don’t suppose they’ll let it go if they knew how good Magneto is in Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. He’d be a great bridge for Spanish tourism, doing crazy air combos in what people think to be a “Spanish royalty uniform.”

‘I’m not going to lie, I’m a cheap date,’ says Duffy
Hindustan Times (New Delhi, India) May 12, 2008 Report from Asian News International brought to you by HT Syndication.
London, May 12 — Welsh singer songwriter of soul music Amie Anne Duffy or Duffy as she is known, has revealed that she is a very cheap date.
Even with a No1 album, a No1 single and a bank balance that is growing, Duffy admitted that her dating demands are far from extravagant. here cheap date ideas
“I get p***ed on two glasses of wine. I’m not going to lie, I’m a cheap date,” the Sun quoted her as saying.
The 23-year-old singer had stolen the show at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Maidstone, Kent. She was very confident for her set on Saturday May 10, where she mesmerized the crowd by bursting into Madonna’s song Borderline.
“Doing a Madonna song is quite outrageous. I put a bit of thought into it. I think if Madonna heard it she would say, ‘Oi, behave, Welsh singer bird’,” she said.
“Borderline sounds like a soul song. I like the way it explains a feeling. It’s about a guy I fancy. That song explains a lot. He’s not here. We’ve got issues,” she stated. here cheap date ideas
She further revealed that she is getting used to all the fame and attention that comes her way.
“At the beginning I was really careful – you know, early to bed – but now I’m used to it I push the boat out when I can.
“I can get away with four hours kip but any less than that and it’s bad. It’s day and game over,” she added.
