Best known for the SOCOM series, Zipper Interactive could potentially be sacked if rumors turn to truth.
The studio’s latest effort was the Vita shooter Unit 13. Their current, unannounced project will also be dissolved if the Kotaku sources are correct.
Zipper pushed out their first SOCOM title back in 2002, turning into a Sony development studio in 2006. The last SOCOM title was released during the PSN outage from the hacking incident, a dramatic case of bad timing for an online military shooter. Prior, the studio created the massive online FPS MAG.
