Rumor Dept.: Web Browsing Finally Coming to 360, Will Use Kinect

If a report over at The Verge is correct, the Xbox 360 will finally be brought up to date with internet browsing. Both the Wii and PS3 have had such an option since what seems like forever, making it odd that a company which produces a browser never made one for their console.

The Xbox 360 will be running Internet Explorer, made so you can browse the web with your floating hands via Kinect. Awkward gags in regards to this method need not apply. If you need your hands for something else, the option for voice commands will also be integrated. If the rumor comes to fruition, it’s likely to be seen at this years E3 where the first question out of every reporter’s mouth will be, “Why wasn’t this an option seven years ago?”
