GameStop Begins Wii U Wait List

GameStop is not alone in their shortage of Wii U units available for pre-order (Best Buy & Target are also out, Amazon hasn’t offered them), but the red and black retailer are the only ones beginning a wait list for when systems do become available.

Interested parties can sign up for the wait list at any store location, but they are not granted perks like other pre-order types who were early enough to get a guaranteed console. Wait list members cannot put money down, and must pay in full for their Wii U within 48 hours of notification… which could be anytime. Oh, and if you’re not a member of GameStop’s paid discount/rewards program – Power-Up Rewards – you’re not eligible for the list.
