Xbox Achievements Expand to Apple iOS

Microsoft’s Achievement Point system has been used on its home hardware – Xbox 360 – and the PC. With Windows Phone, the system broke free of dedicated devices, and now, it’s not even using Microsoft hardware.

Windows Phone success Wordament is seeing life on iOS devices, and with that release, Achievement Points now require four different pieces of hardware to complete every Point on every system. Assuming this reaches Android, that would make five.

The mobile title will offer 50 total Points doled out in 5 Point increments. Minimal awards, but still enough to jostle the Achievement community.
