Surprisingly fun, gruff online shooter with a fantastic cel-shaded look. Special Forces can feel a little inconsistent with regards to delivered damage, but moves smoothly and shoots like a champ. The hook comes from the maps which can be generated (and voted on) in parts. Three separate sections (building, shipping yard, outpost for example) are generated from a base roster of parts, meaning countless styles and types are possible. Sometimes, you may have two of the same, other times none of them match. The idea is sound and Special Forces’ strongest suit, although with the history of XBLA shooter, approach with caution. Few maintain an audience.
