Black Ops II Secures Microtransactions

Know what Call of Duty needed? Bacon. That is not a joke; Black Ops II now has a bacon wrapped gun.

Bacon comes at a price though as Call of Duty has now entered the realm of the microtransaction. Smart marketing dodged a partial bullet by highlighting the free Nuketown 2025 map that released alongside the add-ons.

What’s included in these packs? Visual customization, calling cards, and targeting reticules. These are spread out (one from each of those categories) across multiple downloads which cost 160 MS Points each. Additional options include more slots for custom loadouts and expand storage for replays.

All of these are available now, including the free Nuketown map.
