Microsoft was on the case early to issue Xbox Live Arcade games to disc, including packages bundled with their consoles. Sony, on the other hand, has remained lax. Thatgamecompany released a compilation of titles including Journey and Flower, but more remain online-only enigmas.
Assuming the ESRB is right – and since studios pay them to rate games, they usually are – Sony is putting out a compilation disc of Fat Princess, Tokyo Jungle, Sound Shapes, and When Vikings Attack c called Best of PlayStation Network Vol. 1. Of course, there are no price points as of yet as Sony has not made this official.
All of the titles in that set are winners, so anywhere in the vicinity of $40 (or less of course) makes the disc a clear winner if you still sit without digital copies. And hey, if you don’t like them, you then have the ability to resell the disc.
