Microsoft has debuted the next generation of their gaming hardware, and it has been branded Xbox One. Instead of hardware however, the media has lit up with stories surrounding the console’s consumer side, or rather lack thereof. Will Xbox One play used games? If so, in what capacity? What could a used games restriction do? The Seen in HD podcast breaks down the sea of rumors from various voices inside Microsoft.
When it launches later this year, no one seems to know, and the blow-up over the consumer side has been torrential. By the end of the show, we almost feel bad for berating their showcase, and try to make a positive spin. After all, Microsoft DID show some impressive technology, and it is only fair to give credit where credit is due.
