Seen in HD 144: Talking E3 2013

Every so often, our sister site’s ( podcast, Seen in HD turns its eyes towards the video game landscape. What better time than E3?

Microsoft showcased the Xbox One in full, including a suite of software. Was there collateral damage by not discussing the DRM fiasco? Sony lambasted its direct competitor like a scolded child. Was it a smart play? Nintendo chose to forgo a major stage entirely for a Nintendo Direct to tout loads of software. Did they need to do more?

By the end of the longest Seen in HD episode ever (almost two hours!), we have graded each conference, chatted up some external issues, and still plan to delve into the DRM issues next week. That’s how massive this podcast is.
