Respawn Entertainment’s first game, Titanfall, is due next year for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. As Xbox One’s current premiere exclusive, it would seem someone is sending out fake beta invites for the anticipated space marine shooter. Respawn’s Titanfall Twitter account took early action to let users know there are no betas currently in progress:
“To help keep our fans safe from scammers, please note that all sites advertising Beta access are 100% scams”
Titanfall is due in June of 2014. The EA published shooter may or may not host a beta closer to launch. As of now, ignore any official looking sites.
Seek out information on the title through official channels only, which is a solid mantra for internet browsing in general.
