It’s over 3GB and it’s $30, setting two XBLA records in one.
An adventure title brimming with lush production values, The Raven is split into three chapters (downloaded as an all-in-one pack), beginning with an eager Swiss inspector looking to track down a culprit in a mega case of thievery. Elements of the genre are keen and well applied. The mystery angle is bright and the dapper inspector has enough friendly character to carry this tale of theft. Beautiful orchestrated scoring sits behind the carefully paced puzzle elements to elevate this beyond a typical point-and-click. It feels important and classy while delivering the type of puzzle solving energy needed. Recommended, but considering the total price, stay cautious with the demo.
