Microsoft’s top down, twin stick shooter set in the Halo universe, Spartan Assault, was slated for Xbox 360’s Live Arcade in December, following an exclusive run on Windows 8 platforms.
Things have shifted a tad. Xbox 360 owners will still be recipients of Spartan Assault, but their date has moved to January. In the December slot is a previously unannounced Xbox One edition of Spartan Assault, which will release on Christmas Eve for $15. The Achievement list is up for the curious.
Buyers of the Windows 8 version will be able to score a discount on the Xbox One port for $4.99. There is no mention of a discount for Xbox 360 customers and it is presumed they will receive no cut on the price when it lands on XBLA in January.
