GTA Online exploiters recently discovered a currency glitch which awarded undue cash to those willing to cheat the economy. Awakening from a brief maintenance period, Rockstar is setting targets to those who worked the system.
Those who received unwanted bogus funds are under no pressure: While the errant currency will be removed from accounts, anything purchased before the cut off will remain. Those who actively utilized the glitch will be subject to a punishment of Rockstar’s choosing, ranging from being tossed into a veritable shark pit of other cheaters to being banned outright, the latter likely for the most egregious offenders.
Rockstar is beginning their search immediately.
