If you’re still looking for a PlayStation 4 and have been unsuccessful, you’re not merely unlucky. PlayStation head Andrew House stated to the Wall Street Journal from GDC that PS4 supply is, in fact, constrained. House confirms the company’s struggle to keep up after spilling six million units into stores and subsequently see them enter homes, mostly in the US and Europe.

“Conservatively, as we get into the early summer months, we’ll be closer to a full supply situation.” says House when discussing when the systems could be better stocked. Also in demand is the PlayStation 4 camera, spurred on the popularity of Twitch streaming, enough that GameStop has raised the price of the stand alone camera unit.
